We are strengthening our Corporate Finance team and recruiting a high-performing individual either as a full-time Analyst or Associate to our Helsinki office.
About our Corporate Finance team and the position
With more than 30 years of experience, Evli Corporate Finance is one of the leading investment banks in the Nordics. Currently we employ 20+ investment banking professionals in Finland and Sweden offering a broad portfolio of investment banking services, including private and public M&A, IPOs as well as other capital market transactions. Our clientele consists of both public and private companies, private equity firms and family offices. During the last decade, our team at Evli Corporate Finance has completed over 200 transactions.
As a member of Evli’s Corporate Finance team, you will, together with our experienced colleagues, work on a diverse range of highly interesting transactions in a Nordic environment. Tasks will, among others, include company and market analyses, company valuation, financial modelling and preparation of presentation materials, as well as gradually taking on more project coordination responsibility and client interaction.
What we are looking for
We appreciate a strong work ethic and high commitment combined with an entrepreneurial mindset. You have comprehensive knowledge of and interest in finance and business in general and a strong drive to develop professionally in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You have a background of approximately 1-3 years of full-time/internship work experience in Corporate Finance or similar positions in e.g. private equity, management consulting or other relevant corporate positions.
You also have:
- An entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, and you are always striving to learn more
- A team player with good presentation and interpersonal skills
- A relevant university degree (or close to graduation) with an excellent academic record in e.g. Finance, Economics, Accounting or Industrial Management
- Fluent in Finnish and English, other language skills are considered an asset.
